Visa-Free Travel To 30 Countries With Schengen Visa On Bangladeshi Passport

We all know you can travel to 27 Schengen countries without border control with just one visa. You can freely move and stay within these countries during your valid stay period.

These 27 Schengen countries are Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.

But that’s not all.

Do you know that you can travel to 30 additional countries out of Schengen member countries with the same visa on your Bangladeshi passport?

So effectively, if you have a Schengen visa, the total number of countries you can visit with just one visa on your Bangladesh passport is – 57!

Yes, 57 countries with just one single visa!

Why Do You Get Additional Country Visit Benefits?

The Schengen visa is respected by a number of non-Schengen countries for various reasons. The first reason is that they are on the list of Schengen member candidates, meaning these countries are waiting to become part of Schengen.

Romania, Bulgaria, and The Republic of Cyprus to join Schengen in the coming years. So naturally, they respect the Schengen visa holders and give access to their country without any additional visa beaurocracy.

There are some other countries like Mexico, Belize, and Costa Rica that are not even related to anything Schengen but still give visa-free access to Schengen travelers.

Why?

Because the Schengen visa approval procedure has stringent checks, and tough to get one approved. These countries don’t have as strong infrastructure, technology, consulates, and system to screen visitor visa applicants as Schengen countries. So they have trust in the Schengen system.

How Many Countries Bangladeshis Can Visit with Schengen Visas?

Besides the 27 Schengen member countries, Bangladeshi nationals can visit 30 other countries visa-free or visa-on-arrival.

Please remember that most of these countries require multiple-entry Schengen visas, and the visa must be valid beyond your planned trip to that particular country.

Some countries have additional entry requirements that you need to fulfill. Carefully check them before you plan a trip.

We have linked proper government or other credible sources in each country with our list, where you can find updated information and total requirement details.
