The requirement and validity basically depend on which type of visa you’re applying for.

How can I get a Hungary visa from Bangladesh?

Getting a Hungarian visa is not hard if you have all the documents ready. Hungary doesn’t issue short-term Schengen visas directly in Bangladesh, instead, they are represented by the German embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

In terms of visa success, Germany has a pretty decent visa approval rate compared to other Schengen countries.

Here is the full procedure to get a Hungarian tourist visa from Bangladesh.

Step 1: Gather all the documents

This is the most crucial part and we recommend you start this process early.

That’s because the European Union (& people) loves documentation. There are a lot of papers you need to provide to get a Schengen visa. Some may need to get translated or notarized, so start this procedure 1-2 weeks prior to applying.

Step 2: Take Visa Appointment Scheduling via VFS Global and Form Fill Up

First register on VFS Global with your email.

Fill up the application form and print it for submission. At the same time, book an appointment with the German embassy. Most importantly, make sure that you pay the VFS fee.

Step 3: Submit the Schengen application form to German Embassy

At the appointed date, take the application form along with the documents and submit it to the embassy.

Step 4: Give your Biometric

During the application submission, you need to give your biometrics to the embassy too.

Step 5: Collect your Passport & check if every information is correct

When the decision is taken, the embassy will give you a mail to collect the passport whether you’re accepted or not.

Go to the embassy and collect your passport. If you’re accepted, you will see a Schengen sticker with the duration data. Please check the sticker if it contains all the information.

If your visa is not approved, you will get a rejection letter explaining why it has been rejected. Even if that happens, don’t worry. You can reapply for a Schengen visa after a certain period.
